1 so yesterday was one more red letter day in Indian cricketing history, when India defeated Australia convincingly in 4th test match of 2020-21 series. A team which had lost first test miserably when the team was bowled out only for 36 runs (India’s lowest ever score in test match innings) in the 4th innings . All the cricket expert of Australia started predicting , the series will be 4-0 whitewash in home team’s favour .From the second test India’s best batsman and captain was not available, as he had gone back to India on paternity leave plus Mohd Shammi, spearhead of India’s pace attack was also injured and returned to India. The stand in skipper Ajinkya Rahane did exceptionally well as player and also captained the Indian team, and defeated the mighty Australia in 2nd test, and the score was tied at 1-1, with 2 more tests to go. In the 3rd test although Australia had upper hand, but India who were chasing 350+ score in the 4th innings, the Indian tail enders batted well with Washingtin Sundar and Shradul Thakur kept Australia at bay with 12q3 run stand in 44 overs to manage a honourable draw. Here also all the Australian cricket were proved wrong, who were predicting victory for home team.
In the last test India conceded a lead of 33 runs in the first innings. But India restricted Australia in 2nd innings below 300, with due credits to India pacers who bowled really well and Mohd Siraj was pick of the bowlers who claimed 5 wickets. So India had to chase 329 runs in last innings. The Indian batsmen batter very sensibly from session to session keeping the target in mind. Special credits to Shubnam Gill, Chetashwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane and lastly Rishabh Pant who played innings of his cricketing career to remain unbeaten 89 and aachieved victory target with 3 overs to spare. In Brisbane, venue of 4th test, Australia has not lost the teat match for last 32 years, and India had never won the test match there It was really creditable performance by Indian team, when there were so many players on the injured list and most of players who replaced them hardly has any year in teat matches. So Australia lost to India’s team where many top test players were missing, and with almost new team Ajinkya Rahane did a wonderful job in 3 tests to beat Australia 2-1. BRAVO TEAM INDIA.
2 On farm law yesterday Congress leader Rahul Gandhi commented and accused Modi govt of framing the new farm laws to benefit 3-4 crony capitalists. The country is now run by these 3-4 people, and they are people who provide support to the govt. He further added that new laws will destroy Indian agricultural, and these laws are insult to Indian farmers and middle class. Solution is just to repeal the laws. Govt thinks that they will tire the farmers, but you can not tire them out.
Now responding to these charges union minister Prakash Javadekar said Congress wants Centre- Farmers talk to fail and they are responsible for inciting thee farmers’ strike. But there is regular communication between farmers and govt. He also attacked the Congress for releasing the book ‘ Kheeti Ka Khoon’ and alleged that Congress had blood on his hands-of v all farmers who committed suicide during its rule. Even BJP president JP Nadda had posed a few questions to Gandhi “ When will Congress stop provoking and misleading the farmers of India? Why did Congress the UPA stall the Commission report on agricultural or years and did not increase the minimum support price (MSP). He further added and accused the Congress leader of spreading lies that all APMC Mandis would be closed. He had said that action against APMC mandis was part of the Congress manifesto.
Now problem with Rahul Gandhi is he has got a very short memory and conveniently forgets what he had said earlier. Looks like his only aim is to speak something against Modi govt on daily basis whether the statement is true or false does not matter. situation is such that other than his cronies no one else believes in his words, because they seem to change on daily basis.
