As per experts Covid may have peaked in India. The 14 day period between 17th Sept to 30th Sept saw decline in 7 day cases being reduced from 93,000 t0 83,000 on daily basis, and in the same period the daily tests being carried out raised from 1,15,000 to 1,24,000. India recorded just over 5.5 lakh cases during the period from 28th Sept to 4th Oct, which is the lowest tally in last 5 weeks. Even deaths over the last week was lower by 13% during the week ending 4th Oct.. So if during this week also these figures are reduced considerably, then one can definitely say Covid peak has passed. Now if we talk about Maharashtra & Mumbai then the total figures till 4th Oct are- Maharashta Cases 14.43 Lakh, deaths 38,084, death rate 2.6%, for Mumbai cases 2.14 Lakh, deaths 9108, death rate 4.3%. The active cases in Maharashtra are 2.55 Lakh where as in Mumbai they are 28,108.

The pack quite a punch of nutrition in them, they are high in calories. Hence caution about not over eating the same as snack. But they are perfect answer to sweet craving and are better than any sweet or dessert any day.

The same properties also said to help with good eyesight. Apart from this Vitamin A, beta carotene and A-Carotenoid in raisins are known to help improvement in eyesight.

The anti bacterial properties of the phytonutrients in raisins are good for oral health. Oleonolic acid presents in raisins protects our teeth from decay due to cavities. More importantly, they also contain Calcium that helps teeth health, and also bone health.
Skin health
Raisins also help our body fight cell damage which keeps the skin healthy, and signs of ageing like wrinkles, sagging etc are kept away. They are also said to help with skin condition called acidosis caused by blood toxicity. Being rich in Potassium and Magnesium raisins help neutralised the acidity in stomach, thus helping with acidosis. It even helps in liver detoxification and skin hydration.
Raisins are easily available in India from local stores, super markets and dry fruit stores. Raisins have good shelf life and can be easily stored in airtight container, as they do not need refrigeration. They can be easily consumed as snack, or you could mix it up with cereals for a breakfast. They could also be included in cooking and baking, and desserts and salads. They can also be had soaked with warm milk, or even soak it overnight in water and consume next morning.
