Monday Post

Yesterday night majority of Indians showed solidarity with PM Modi by lighting Diyas, Candles, Torches, Mobile flash etc. There were some cynics who had and still criticising Modi for this act, but this act  have actually united Indians and it was their way of showing that we are with you Mr PM, during this Corona crisis.

Let us see why these cynics do not like PM Modi :

  1. These people did not like you when you took a bold decision to lock down full country for 3 weeks.
  2. Even when you sent flights to get back Indians struck in other countries, they are unhappy.
  3. They do not like you, as you arrange for thousands of migrant labours to reach home, saying that migrants are now at risk in the over crowding buses. May be they were hoping that you will arrange individual cabs for each migrant, and also dole out cash to them .
  4. PM locked down full country without realising that as a head of developing country he should have first  thought of country’s economics . When at that time the citizens of other countries were roaming freely, Indians under lock down. When some so called heads of powerful developed nations could not even dare to talk about lock down in their country,  PM  Modi executed the world’s largest lock down in the history of mankind, that is the reason these cynics do not like PM Modi.
  5. These cynics do not like PM Modi because he imparts confidence and morale boosting for the countrymen during his speeches recently that united and channelized entire nation, plus they do not like Modi when he apologises to the poor of the country for having to do this to them and country.
  6. When PM Modi announces the economic packages for the poor, who are going to be hit by lock down, these cynics still do not like Modi and said he should have announced this package before announcing lock out.
  7. These cynics feel it is wrong on Modi’s part when he requests his countrymen with folded hands to stay inside their homes during lock down. Their point of view why PM should bow before people.
  8. They do not like PM Modi when he tells the countrymen to express gratitude for the unsung heroes of the war against corona. They say it is just show off.

Who are these cynics, in my opinion they are the people who can not even figure out how to entertain themselves and their family for 21 days, but they expect PM to have solution for each and every 1.3 billion Indian. These are the same folks who may not even helped their servant/maid/neighbours in need, but want PM to distribute money to the needy equally, without any mistakes overnight.

Some of these cynics may not be in position to manage their home budget despite drawing a handsome salary, and wants PM to manage the economy during the corona crisis without any failure. Some of these people can not reach their office/ meeting in time, but they wanted PM to announce the lockdown in the morning to give them time to hoard the essentials.

These cynics will show pictures of Police lathi charging the violators of lockdown, even it was to save their own lives, but they will not dare to show pictures of thousand of Indians stuck in the Middle east and brought back to the country in Air India planes. They will never talk about or show pictures of Sikhs serving langars to needy or Muslims opening up their hotels to feed the needy, common men opening their kitchens, ordinary people working with govt employees to distribute money, food, goods to the needy.

These cynics do not like PM Modi because he belongs to the political party whose beliefs they do not like, in the process they forget that PM Modi and his party has won two consecutive elections with great majority, and these people have neither the capacity nor the maturity to accept this.

Now what is PM Modi’s fault, when he is trying his personal best and leading the country into fight against Corona Virus.

Have these cynics and others have realised that, the work carried out by PM during these crisis because he is not in habit of boasting what he does for his country as PM, he feels it is his duty to do the same. Here are few of things which his govt did

  1. It was govt’s concrete efforts to be the first to bring in thousands of Indians back home from Corona affected countries, without even asking about their race, religion, or even citizenship.
  2. The govt built first quarantine establishment for the Indo Tibetan Border Police (IBTP) even before first corona virus case in India surfaced.
  3. When all over the world the corona affected countries started facing hospital bed shortage, this govt brought the innovative idea of converting railway compartment into quarantine zones with all the medical facilities, first of this kind in the world.
  4. With govt’s effort so many billionaire industrialists are putting their efforts for ensuring health infrastructure increase rapidly to meet the demands if required in near future.

This govt will still serve, including all these cynics and protect them all, just like any other citizen, but presently these cynics are busy posting anti establishment tweets during the lock down period.

PM, as leader of the nation has taken a bitter decision to save the citizens first and economy has taken the back seat. The developed countries in Europe , USA and others who for the fear of economy will collapse took the decision to not locking down the country earlier are the worst sufferers in the fight against corona virus. In the end one has to realise that economy which is going to be affected,  can be revived by the people in future, and the same can not be revived by the dead people.

Most of the Indians feel that steps taken by govt will save our lives and also minimise the losses on the economic front.

FUNDA SHOULD BE LIFE FIRST, EVERYTHING ELSE AFTERWARDS.

Or what they say in urdu

JAAN HAI TO JAHAN HAI.

Awaiting your feed backs/views/comments.

I agree that Life should be given priority over economy.
