At present days cricket is played in three formats- Test cricket, One Day cricket, and T20 cricket. Today I am talking about One Day International (ODI) cricket. In ODIs, if the team batting first makes a huge score, then the chasing team needs a good partnership between at least one pair of batsmen to reach the target and win the match. Actually, in all three formats of the game, there is very big importance is given to a partnership between the two batsmen. Friends in recent times you must have come across a term called ‘AYUSH Doctors’. You might have been puzzled about who are these doctors. Actually, AYUSH is an acronym for Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy. These are six Indian systems of medicine prevalent and practiced in India and some of the neighbouring Asian countries with very few exceptions in some of the developed countries. Most of us may not be aware that there are more than 71,000 cases pending in the Supreme Court (SC), out of this about 56,000 are civil matters and about 15,000 are criminal matters. The longest pending case before a Constitution Bench is the case of the Central Board of Dawoodi Bohra community v State of Maharashtra which has been pending since 1986. Now in a big step towards unclogging the top judiciary burdened with heavy pendency of cases, the SC has, in one massive sweep, binned about 13,140 old diarised but unregistered cases, including one filed more than three decades ago. Presently Bollywood is going through a bad phase as most of the films with big stars are flopping miserably. The main blame for the same is the lack of originality in the subject. It has so happened that during the Covid pandemic the taste of the audience has changed because they got used to watching content on the OTT platforms which generally gave them some original story ideas and good content in other language films and serials.
