Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, was granted bail by the Supreme Court (SC) a few days back, with a caveat that he would not sign any document or go to the CM office, and will take no part in administrating the affairs of Delhi. Yesterday, ie 15/9/2024 Arvind Kejriwal announced his plans to resign following his release from Tihar jail. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo has also sought early polls in the national capital and vowed to avoid the CM chair until he was given a “certificate of honesty” by the people of Delhi. The AAP is asking for snap election in Delhi alongside with Maharashtra Assembly in November 2024. This move is similar to what he did in 2014 after spending 49 days as CM of Delhi. This move could prove to be master stroke but there are major chances that this could backfire also. What…

Congress and Sikhs
Friends, the leader of the opposition (LOP) in Parliament Rahul Gandhi is on a visit to the USA, and there he is giving statements showing India in very poor light. Even the media in the USA to a certain extent was perplexed and one San Francisco based Newspaper headline said whether “ Rahul Gandhi is from India or Pakistan”. The correspondent wrote this because Rahul Gandhi was speaking about India, it sounded like an enemy of India can only speak that. As per this newspaper, Rahul Gandhi said that Muslims are being attacked in India, he also said that what is now happening with Muslims in India, happened to Dalits in 1980. It is worth mentioning that in 1980, India was ruled by the Congress party. Rahul also said the way Muslims are being attacked in India, similarly Sikh, Christian, Dalit and tribal communities are also being attacked. The LOP…
Aching Knees
Whether it is a sharp pain or a dull ache, joint pain is a common problem. One of the main culprits is Early Osteoarthritis of the Knee. Therefore, I am writing this blog on ACHING KNEES. Early Osteoarthritis of Knee Osteoarthritis, commonly known as wear-and-tear arthritis, is a condition in which the natural cushioning between joints-cartilage- wears away. The knee is the most common joint of the lower portion of the body, which is extremely affected by osteoarthritis and Knee pain is the primary problem for the patients with EKOA (Early Knee Osteoarthritis), in turn limiting their daily activity. If you have stiffness, pain and swelling in your knees that is worse in the morning or when you have not moved for a while, suspect early osteoarthritis. Particulate Matter
PARTICULATE MATTER, also known as particle pollution or PM, is a term that describes extremely small solid particles and liquid droplets suspended in air. Particulate matter can be made of a variety of components including nitrates, sulphates, organic chemicals, metals, soil or dust particles, and allergens (such as fragments of pollen or mould spores). Particle pollution mainly comes from motor vehicles, wood burning, heaters and industry. During bushfires or dust storms, particle pollution can reach extremely high concentrations. The size of particles affects their potential to cause health problems: PM10 (particles with diameter of 10 micrometers or less)- these particles are small enough to pass through the throat and nose and enter lungs. Once inhaled, these particles can affect the heart and lungs and cause serious health effects. 5 (particles with a diameter of 2.5 micrometers or less)- These particles are so small they can get into the lungs and…

Sarkari Naukari
Millions scramble to get government jobs in India. Last year, for 60,000 UP police constable jobs, there were 48 lakh applicants—that is a selection ratio of 1.25%. For army jawans recruitment, the selection ratio is 3% to 4%. Why, 30+ years after reforms, and in the world’s fastest-growing economy, is a ‘SARKARI NAUKARI’ so coveted? First, let’s just get an idea of labour market in India (as per data available): There are approx 972 million working age people (15-64 years in 2023). 586 million Indians are employed (2023 data) Organised sector (private+govt) jobs a2 152 million, are just 25% of total jobs. And in this, govt (centre+state) jobs number 14 million. So 2 out of 100 jobs in India are sarkari. Only our 1.4 of 100 working age could be sarkari jobs. This is when Labour Force Participation Rate (LFPR) is 49.9%, or roughly half of 972 million working age…
Financial Infidelity
Infidelity is any action that breaches an unspoken or explicit agreement between two partners. We have all heard about stories of romantic infidelity. One spouse cheats on another, leading to a destructive breach of trust and, in many cases, the end of the relationship. But what happens when the cheating is financial? FINANCIAL INFIDELITY happens when someone deliberately lies about money to a spouse or partner with whom they share joint finances. This type of dishonesty can be as harmful to a relationship as romantic infidelity and it is a lot more common than you may think. What is Financial Infidelity? Just like romantic infidelity, financial dishonesty in a relationship includes certain transgressions that are done without your partner’s knowledge. These include lying about your financial debt, or hiding and financial information your partner should know about. For example, regular spending money from your joint savings account to fund your…
