In today’s blog, I am writing about some General information/Tips which are useful in our daily lives.
A Social Rules
- Do not start drama at someone else’s event.
- Returned borrowed items in the same (or better) condition.
- Let people get off the elevator before you step in.
- Do not swipe through someone’s photo if they show you one.
- Hold the door if someone’s right behind you.
- Tip well if the service is good.
- Do not leave your shopping cart in the middle of the aisle.
- Do not blast music on public transport. Use earphones.
- If you cancel plans, reschedule it.
- Put your phone away during face-to-face conversation.
- Do not interrupt someone’s workout at the gym.
- Do not text “call me”- just call.
- Always knock before entering.
- Let people exit before you enter anywhere.
- Do not leave mess in shared spaces.
- Acknowledge cashiers and servers-eye contact, a nod, a thank you.
- Walk on the right/correct side of the footpath.
- No loud phone calls on speaker in public places.
- If you borrow a car, return with full fuel tank or at least fill with amount you feel would have been consumed.
- After doing weight training at gym, please put the weights back at the proper places.
- Keep your word or promise, or do not give.
- Do not eat someone’s leftovers without asking.
- Cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing.
- Do not block the path while scrolling your
- Respect personal spaces of others.
- If you make a mess, then you must clean the same.
B Brutal Career Truths
- Hard work is not enough- Results need to be seen. Advocate for yourself-quiet efforts get ignored.
- Loyalty won’t pay the bills- Companies are loyal to profits not people. Look out for yourself first.
- Your Job title is temporary- Focus on building skills, not clinging to labels. Titles do not define your value.
- Your boss isn’t always right- Leaders make mistake too. Challenge respectfully when it matters.
- Networking is non-negotiable- Your skills are important but connections will open the doors.
- Burnout is not a badge of honour- Work smarter, not harder. Protect your energy-it’s your greatest resource.
- Comfort zone kill growth- If you are not uncomfortable, you are not growing.
- Feedback is a gift- Even the harshest feedback can teach you something valuable. Seek it out.
- You are always replaceable- Focus on making an impact, not being irreplaceable. Impact being a legacy.
- Perfection slows you down- Aim for progress, not perfection. Done is better than doing perfect.
- Career progress isn’t linear- Side steps, failures, and pivots often lead to the biggest wins.
- No one will hand you success- Take ownership. Push for opportunities. No one is going to care more about your career than you.

- Always be honest, even when it’s hard.
- Take responsibility of your action.
- Hard works beat talent when talent is lazy.
- Respect everyone, regardless of status.
- Control your emotions, don’t let them control you.
- Saying NO is strength, not a weakness.
- Keep your word, it defines your character.

- Apologise when you are wrong.
- Never stop learning and growing.
- Money is important, but integrity is priceless.

- Health is wealth, take care of yourself.
- Speak up for what is right, even if you stand alone.
