Happy People

Friends, have you ever thought about what makes people happy and what’s the difference between a happy person and a miserable person? It seems like a difficult question, but in reality, the answer is very simple-It is their habits. Happiness does not depend upon whether you are rich or poor, successful or unsuccessful, attractive or ugly. The main difference between happy and sad people is their habits.

Now if you want to be happier, you must try to emulate the following habits of HAPPY PEOPLE:

1 They do not fake happiness

They are comfortable with who they are and accept reality for what it is. Experts say that one of the most common causes of unhappiness is deluding ourselves by avoiding reality. In general, the key to feeling happier and more fulfilled is better self-awareness.

2 They are grateful

Happy people do not get upset about what they do not have. Instead, they are grateful for what they do have. Practicing gratitude will help you when times are tough. It will keep you from giving up in the face of hardship. Further being grateful gives you positive benefits, both mentally and physically.

3 They decide what happiness means to them

So many of us are chasing other people’s definitions of happiness. In order to find happiness, you need to determine what that looks like for you. The hard part is that we often adopt our parents’ or society’s version of happiness, and strive to achieve the same. We have to figure out the things for ourselves, which will make us happier.

4 They accept the difficult things in the life

In reality, struggle is required in human life in order to find sunshine. We do not just wake up happy, we need to work for it, and work on it. Accepting negative feelings is an important habit called ‘emotional fluency’ which means experiencing your emotions without judgment or attachment. People who are truly happy are those who have come through the fire and lived to see another day.

5 They do not rush through life

Happy people know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but you can’t see beauty if you are rushing through life. It is important to have goals, but we do not need to be in a hurry all the time to get things done. Happy people feel their way through life and allow the good and the bad to penetrate into them so they can have a full human experience.

6 They remember how to play

Play is essential to our social skills, adaptability, intelligence, creativity, ability to solve problems, and many more. Play is essential for how we prepare for the unexpected and keep our optimism. The truth is, when we play and have fun, it brings joy and is helpful in improving our relationships.

7 They try new things

There are things you have never done in your life, try something new and watch yourself be happier. People who engage in a variety of different experiences are more likely to retain positive emotions and minimize negative ones. A spirit of constant self-challenge keeps you humble and open to new ideas that very well may be better that the ones you currently have.

8 They have a few close relationships

You do not need a hundred close friends, but you do need one or two people in your life who matter and who are there to help pick you up when you fall. This might be your spouse, your parents, a sibling, or a friend. We all need someone to remind us we are not alone in this life, and to help make us smile when things have gone bad. Happy people have someone they can count on.

9 They buy experiences, not things

Happy people do not focus on material things, but instead, understand the value of experiences. We buy things to make us happy, and we succeed. But only for a while. If you feel the urge to spend money, spend money on experiences. Go see your country, and live life while traveling in planes, trains, cars, etc. Get out and find out what life is made of in other places.

10 They know who they are

Learning about yourself is a tough road to walk down, but the happiest people in the world don’t live in oblivion. They are authentic and authentic to themselves. The only way to become authentic is to face the music. If you want to be happier, you need to practice being happy.

In the end, you first need to know why you are not happy. That requires courage and the bravery to look at yourself in the mirror and find out why you are not letting yourself live your life to the fullest. After that, you can start to follow the tips given above to feel happy.
