Presently there is no hulchul in political circles, and I think things will hot up after the monsoon Session of Parliament starts. Some interesting thoughts on this first Monday of July 2018;

1. Congress now a days is harping on, that BJP as a party does not believe in democracy and they are trying to silence the democracy, and their PM is behaving in autocratic manner. This statement from Congress party looks really funny, because Congress is one party who can be called pseudo democratic party, as by misusing the democratic process their aim is only to consolidate the position of one family. If you go through the list of Congress party Presidents since independence, then you will notice for most of the time Congress Party has been headed by member of Nehru/Gandhi family. During the time of Nehru, there have been few Presidents of the party who were not from this family, the detailed list as follows:  JB Kriplani(1947), P Sitaramaya(148-49), PD Tandon (1950), Jawaharlal Nehru (1951-54), UN Dhebar(1955-58), Indira Gandhi (1959). N Sanjiva Reddy (1960-63), K Kamraj (1964-67). After this there was turmoil in the party and party broke and there were 2 Congress Parties Congress (O) and Congress (R), in   Congress  (O) the old party leaders remained and in Congress (R) there were leaders who sided with Indira Gandhi, and after 1980 this party was known as Congress(I) where I stood for Indira, and this party claimed to be the real Congress as they had more supporters/MPs/MLAs throughout the country. SD Sharma (1972-74), Devkant Barua (1975-77) and then Indira Gandhi took over Presidentship of this party from 1978 to 1984 till her death. Then Rajiv Gandhi became the President and till his death in 1991,  then PV Narsimha Rao (1991-96), Sitram Kesri (1996-98), Sonia Gandhi (1998-2017) and now Rahul  Gandhi from 2018.. Now if you see the history you will notice that after 1980 , when Indira Gandhi came back to power in 1980, Congress party is led by Gandhi family except for the period from mid 1991 to mid 1998. Even in the United Congress Nehru/Gandhi family member was president for 7 years.  Presently it has become the private property of Gandhi family. Compare this with the list of Party Presidents of BJP : Atal Bihari Vajpayee (1980-86), LK Advani (1986-90), Murli Manohar Joshi(1990-92), LK Advani ( 1992-98), Keshubhau Thakre (1998-2000), Bangaru Laxman( 2001-2001),K Jana Krisnamurthy(2001-2002), Venkiah Naidu (2002-04), LK Advani (2004-2005), Rajnath Singh (2006-09), Nitin Gadkari (2009-2013),Rajnath Singh (2013-14), and Amit Shah from 2014. So you can see from 1980 there are 10 leaders who have led BJP, and for Congress there have been only Gandhi family except few years in between when  Rao & Kesri were President. It is very clear   that after 1980 Congress party has become a Party of  Gandhi family and every thing revolves around this family, and spoke person Of Congress party always denies that it is not a dynastic party.
2. World Cup Football- Two biggest Footballer of this millennium (till date) Lionel Messi (Argentina) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal) bid good bye to their world cup dreams on last Saturday within 6 hours, when both countries whom they represent lost their Pre Quarter Finals knock out matches.  France beat Argentina 4-3, and Uruguay beat Portugal 2-1. Both the players have represented their country in last 4 World cup tournaments, and this was their last chance of winning the World Cup for their teams and individual Gold Medals, as by 2022 both would have been retired from the game.. Their performances in the last 4 world Cups are  as follows:                                                                                                Lionel Messi- 2006( played 3 matches, Goals 1, Assist 1) team reached quarter finals, 2010 (played 5 matches, Goals 0, Assists 3) team reached quarter finals, 2014 ( played 7 matches Goals 4, Assist 1) Team finished as Runner up & 2018 (played 4 matches, Goals 1, assists 7) team reached Pre quarter finals.                                                                                                   Cristiano Ronaldo- 2006( played 6 matches, Goals 1, Assist 0), team reached Semi finals, 2010( Played 4 matches, Goals 1, Assist 1) team reached Pre Quarter finals, 2014 (Played 3 matches Goals 1, Assist 1) team went out from group stage & 2018 (played 4 matches Goals 4, Assist 0) team reached Pre Quarter finals.                                                             Both Messi & Ronaldo are Super Stars in the Foot Ball world and they must have earned 100s of million dollars from the game and people come to watch their club games and stadiums are jammed packed but their individual performances in the last 4 world cups are not  much to talked about except Ronaldo scored a hat trick in this world cup.                 I wild thought, can someone predict in which year India will qualify for the Foot Ball World Cup Finals?????
