Some interesting news on this Wednesday of June 2018:

1. The Scientists of IIT Delhi  released a scientific report regarding rise in environment temperatures in India. The findings say that green house gasses released by human activities are solely responsible for rise in temperature, and  for warming the climate. The warming was confined  to 0.5 deg  C, this was basically due to cooling affects of pollution, another by product of the use of fossil fuels. The findings suggest that there could be a sharper increase in warming as we reduce air pollution. In the study it was found that the sharpest rise in temperatures in the Western Himalayas specially in J & K and adjoining areas. It was found that Green House Gasses (GHG) accounted for a warming of  up to 3 deg C during last 5 decades.                                                                                          Another significant affect of global warming is expected to make vegetable scarcer around the world in near future, and it is expected that by 2100 there will be 4 deg C rise in temperature, and it will reduce the yield of vegetables by 31.5 %. A study conducted by National Academy of Sciences says that with the environmental changes such as increased temperature and water scarcity may pose a real threat to global agricultural productions which will further impact food security and health of the people. Now if we take the Chalta Hai attitude approach to this problem, then future environmental changes will substantially reduce the  availability of important food item like vegetables in the global market. It is highly mandatory that we should take an urgent action in this regard, including working to  support to agricultural sector to increase its resilience to environmental changes and this must be the one big priority for all the govt across the world. So  Vegetarians of the World, please take note of this  and be kept advised on this matter in near future. It should not happen that our future generations blame us for all the global warming mess left behind by this generation, and vegetarians have little left to eat.
2. In one of my earlier blogs, I had written about Gangster Abu Salem’s complain to Portugese authorities about violation of the extradition treaty on the basis of which  India brought him here. The woman officer from Portugal Embassy was allowed to conduct interview with Abu Salem in Taloja jail, in the presence  of higher Officials of Maharashtra  Prisons, CBI officers and Salem’s counsel Saba Quereshi. Salem tried to apprise the Embassy Official about the other cases he is facing in India, but she didn’t show any interest in this topic. Salem also complained about food he is being served in the jail, but here the Jail official countered that the food he gets to eat was in accordance with the Jail manual and all other inmates eats the same food. On Salem’s contention that he is not being given proper medical treatment, the Jail authorities furnished his medical records and pointed out that he did not have any medical conditions. Salem’s lawyer made the statement that our petition to Portugal govt was that Salem’s basic rights are being violated as per extradition treaty and that he should be kept well or sent back to jail in Portugal. I still do not understand the basic or human rights of a  convict in a murder case, agreed that Portugese Jails must be better than Indian Jails , and therefore Salem wants to spend his balance sentence  comfortably in Portugese Jail and hence all this drama.
3. So Rahul Gandhi’s  Pappu avtar  is back in form on Indian scene. Two days back he said that the person who developed Coca cola was selling Shikanjavi( A lemon drink with cold water), and person who started Mbcdonald was running dhaba. Both the statements are false. And yesterday he visited ailing Atal Bihari Vajpayee   in Delhi hospital, but he forget that hospital authorities have requested that visitors should not come before 7 pm,  but he landed at the hospital at 6 pm. Even PM went after 7.30 pm. After his visit  he made  a statement that BJP and its leaders like Modi are disrespecting the seniors in the party. BJP spoke person replied back ,  while Rahul has been trying to advice BJP on how to respect senior leaders,  he should first of all answer on his ill treatment to his own senior leaders-  ex PM Narsimha Rao,former President Pranab Mukherjee. In fact Rahul Gandhi insulted ex PM Manmohan Singh by tearing an ordinance of his govt. I dread to even think Rahul Gandhi as next PM, as Mumbai city Congress Chief  Sanjay  Nirupam put a banner in Mumbai city, where he mentioned Rahul Gandhi as future PM of India, and I think it is height of Chamchagiri.
