Friends, in the English language, Idioms play a crucial role in written or spoken communications. There are certain idioms which are termed as CRUCIAL IDIOMS. Here are some examples of the same, with their meanings:

1 Take with a grain of salt– Don’t believe something completely.

2 At the drop of a hat- Immediately, without hesitation.

3 Bend over backwards- Try very hard to help someone.

45 Lose your touch– No longer be skilled as before.

47 Put your foot in your mouth- Say something very embarrassing.

48 Steal someone’s thunder– Take credit or attention from someone else.

49 The last straw– The final problem that causes someone to lose patience.

50 Turn the tables- Reverse the situation and gain an advantage.
