Congress

Some time I wonder, and start thinking what is so special about Rahul Gandhi that the Congress Party and all the Congressmen want to see that he becomes PM in 2019, because for them it is now or never. So they are bent upon opposing Modi govt from all the fronts. Their opposition to each and every action by the govt is proving that they do not believe in any of the institutions created by our constitutions over last 7 decades and from these 7 decades they were ruling/or part of ruling coalitions for almost 6 decades. Let us see the different institutions on whom they are throwing aspersion :

1. Judiciary- Whenever any judgement it is not in favour of them or not according to their political plans, they start yelling the judiciary is not acting in a fair manner. The recent examples are 2 G case verdict- that time they had full faith in judiciary and when SC gave the judgement in Justice Loya death case then at that time judiciary was playing BJP cards. Icing on the cake was their impeachment motion in Rajya Sabha against Chief Justice, on some filmsy grounds which VP rejected. They have degraded the judiciary so much that even some of the old staunch principled congressmen must be crying on the deterioration of the party.
2. Election Commission(EC)- Over the years  the Election Commission has become their enemy no. 1. As soon as they lose election in some state they start blaming that Electronic Voting machines (EVMs) are rigged, this happened when they lost UP, Assam, Meghalaya, Goa but EVMs were perfectly all right when they won Punjab state elections. Secondly they start blaming that EC is following the instructions of BJP govt at centre, but they forget when they were ruling the country what was the state of EC. When Rajiv Gandhi died, the Election Commissioner , who was having Congress leaning, postponed the 2nd phase of election when 1st phase polling was already completed.
3. CBI- now they say CBI is  not a independent body and they are taking instructions from BJP govt at centre. Let me ask Congress, was CBI  free from your interference when you were in power. It was the courts which forced CBI/govt to take action against the scamsters, if the the court had not intervened the things would have become worse. Any action by CBI against Congress men become political vendetta.
4. Army- They do not believe in armed forces and in between they have gone to the extent of saying that the presence of Muslims in armed forces is not in the proportion of their population in the country. The army chief retorted in such way  and said that please do not  use your religion based politics here, and added further that the selection in the army is not based on caste and religion. They even asked the proof of surgical strikes against Pakistan by the Indian Army. When the stone pelting incidents happened in Kashmir, their sympathies were with stone pelters who were throwing stones at army officers and not with army men who were firing in their own defence.
5. Reserve Bank- They even cast the aspersion on RBI chief at the time of demonitisation, saying that RBI Governor acted against the interest of common man and supported the govt’s move of demonitisation.  Are they novice that they do not understand the decision on any economic or financial matter is prerogative of govt  and RBI has to act accordingly.
6. Parliament- Congress, now , has a least respect for the parliament. For last one year most of the parliament sessions have been washed out on one issue or the other. Even in the  last budget session , no business was transacted in the both houses of parliament and the reason being PNB scam and special state status to Andhra. They are not ready for discussion on any matter  and their members just want to come to parliament and as soon as the house convenes, their members rush to the well of the house and start shouting , which results in the leader of the house suspending the day’s proceeding. In this way nations has lost  thousands of crore rupees of exchequer’s money.

Above are the few areas, which I have elaborated but the fact is that they are casting aspersion of each and every institutions, created by the constitution, just to prove to people of the country that Modi’s govt has destroyed these institutions. On the contrary the fact is that the present govt is trying to stablise all these institution whose working culture was destroyed by Congress rule.

And with whom Congress men  and their leaders have their sympathy :

1. They have sympathies with people like Yakub Menon, Afzal Guru who were given death sentence by the SC and upheld by the President.
2. They have sympathy  with people like Kanahiya & others of JNU, who talk in the campus about breaking India, shouting slogans like Pakistan  Zindabad and will avenge Afzal Guru’s death etc.
3. They have sympathies with all Naxalites , supporter of terrorist groups and Kashmiri separatists.
4. They will believe more on the statements issued by Pakistani  and Chinese govt rather than our own PM and govt spoke person.
5. They believe and support the rioters who engage in caste based riots.

Now let me talk about their leadership of last decades- Rajiv Gandhi became Congress President and PM just because he was Indira Gandhi’s son,  and after entering politics he was elevated to PM’s chair because dynastic politics practised by Congress from Nehru’s days. After Rajiv Gandhi’s death, for few years Congress was under the leadership of  PV Narsimha Rao & Sitaram Kesari( from 1991-98) but again dynasty politics played the card and Rajiv Gandhi’s Italy born wife Sonia Gandhi became President of the Congress Party, the post which she left few months back in favour of  her son Rahul Gandhi.

Now Rahul Gandhi is member of Lok Sabha for last 14 years and he may not have spoken 14 times, and his record as MP is dismissal. Just because he is from Nehru / Gandhi family  does not give him right to become PM. During his public meeting he always say that his family has given very big sacrifice, and he lost his Grand mother & father to assassin’s bullets, so please give me chance. There will be many sons and grandsons whose fathers and grand fathers must have laid their life’s to nation’s cause as army men when killed by enemy’s bullet, in that case they should also be given chance to become PM. I just can not even imagine Rahul Gandhi as PM of our country.
