Presidential Candidates

Today in the news papers there is a news item which mentions that the Congress/opposition backed nominee Ms Meira  Kumar is upset about the Dalit colour being given to Presidential elections. But who gave the Dalit colour to this election, it is well known fact that NDA announced their candidate Ram Nath Kovind  before Congress/oppositions parties could announce their candidate, who was a Bihar Governor and belonged to Dalit caste. But by selecting Meira Kumar, who is self proclaimed Dalit, Congress has given a total Dalit colour to this election.Congress never chose a Dalit candidate for President when they were in power, then why now? Suddenly they found long lost love for Dalits. Meira Kumar further says that according to her it is not Dalit  v/s Dalit , but she is fighting a ideological battle. We all understand after 70 years of independence, what is congress and Meira Kumar’s ideology.

Few points to ponder

1.Agreed Meira Kumar’s father belonged to Dalit’s family so Meira Kumar became Dalit, but as per Hindu custom after marriage a women becomes the member of husband’s cast. Meira Kumar husband belongs to Brahmin caste, so she has to be Brahmin now, but no, through out her political career Meira Kumar projected herself as Dalit to take all the benefits. Her children might have also taken the benefits  being children of Dalit mother.  By this action she must have deprived some deserving Dalit persons.

2.Her father, who was once Deputy Prime Minister forgot to file his income tax returns for 10 years. And she unauthorisedly occupied Bunglow in Luyten area in New Delhi, which was allotted to her father, after his death. Afterwards she started putting pressure on govt that her mother is poor and she does not have any other place to stay, so let her stay in that bunglow. After her mother’s death she played the master stroke by declaring that she wants to convert this bunglow as museum in memory of her father. But by that time Vajpayee govt came to power and they passed the order that no more memorial or museums in govt bunglows  in the name of any departed leader. After UPA govt came in power, any how she managed to get special permission to get the bunglow to convert into museum. She also got the pending rent of Rs 2 crores waived from UPA govt.

So what ideology she is talking about. The ideology of taking undue benefits by declaring false caste or upsurging govt property in the name of museum in the name of her father. The above said bunglow is being occupied by her and only one part of the property is converted to museum. So this is her ideology.

Now ideology of Congress, do they have any ideology? In the last 70 years after independence , what congress has given to nation : Dynasty politics and nepotism, talking about pseudo secularism, appeasement of Muslims and other minorities, corruption, bogus assurance to people below poverty lines, huge bank loans to their industrialist friends knowing their incapability  to repay the loan, bogus govt schemes in the name of poor people so that their leaders/politicians can siphon off the money. The list is end less.

Now the Congressmen and their presidential candidate are talking about ideology, when they never had any ideology.
