Friends, a few days back I read one very interesting post on social media, which I would like to share with you.
Cockroaches Are Not Gen Z And Gen Z Are Not Cockroaches
- For almost 50 days, India was sold a cheap, vulgar drama. A few people reached Jantar Mantar. They abused the Prime Minister, insulted the army, vandalised public property, and manufactured chaos
- Then social media announced “ Behold. The voice of Gen Z”. Really? A microphone, a barricade and a vocabulary borrowed from the sewer. Do not represent an entire generation
- While the outrage industry was busy filming third-grade obscenity. India’s real Gen Z was working.
- In the Glasgow Commonwealth Games:
-Sharmila Dhankar won a gold medal
-Dilip Mahadu Gavvit won a gold medal
-Gyaneshwari Yadav won a silver medal
-Sarvesh Kushare won a silver medal
-Murali Sreeshankar won a silver medal
-Gulveer Singh won a silver medal
-Mohd Basil won a silver medal
-Valluri Ajaya Babu won a silver medal
-Bindyarani won a bronze medal
-Shilpa Shyla won a bronze medal and many more
They did not abuse India; they raised the tricolour, and a drop of tears flowed over their proud cheeks.
- Then came the International Mathematical Olympiad
-Abel George won a gold medal
-Aarav gupta won a gold medal
-Kanav Talwar won a Silver medal
-Sanjana Chacko won a Silver medal
-Bairav Murugan won a Silver medal
-Shreya Shantanu won a silver medal
No vandalism, no abusive language and no vulgarity. Just hard work, just discipline, and just Maa Bharati

-Making semiconductors
Solving problems Cockroaches can not even pronounce. This is Gen Z who are: Not lazy, not culturally bankrupt, not intellectually empty and not permanently offended. They are smarter than Millennials, more technology fluent and globally competitive. And far more ambitious than the caricature sold to us as Gen Z.
So my dear friends, do not surrender the name of Gen Z to a mob.
The people who abused the nation do not represent Gen Z;
-Call them goons
-Call them vandals
– Call them parasites
-Call them anarchists
But do not call them the future of India.
The real Gen Z is carrying medals, equations, racquets, satellites and the tricolour.
The others carried third-grade placards, mistook noise for intelligence, and for mere likes and fake followers. Those are not Gen Z, those are Generation Zombie. Do not glorify them, expose them.
Because India does not have a youth problem, it has a camera problem, and the camera keeps pointing at the gutter.
While an entire generation is busy reaching for the stars.
I do not know who the original author of the above, yes, he/she has hit the nail on the head. The real Gen Z is busy studying, building a career; even though there are reservations and fierce competition, they are trying their best to achieve something, learn something new, challenge themselves and become better as an individual. Agreed, the situation should be improved, and all these paper leaks should be stopped. In my opinion, paper leaks are happening because some filthy rich parents want their children to have advantages over non-privileged ones
