Some wild thoughts on this Thursday of Oct 2019.
1 During the on going campaign for Maharashtra Assembly elections, there have been suggestion by some candidate from BJP that it is high time that Veer Savarkar should be bestowed with the nation’s highest honour ie Bharat Ratna, for his role during the freedom movement. Immediately there was strong reaction from the Congress party stating that how can a person implicated in Mahatma Gandhi assassination, can be considered for this award. As far as my knowledge goes, Savarkar was made to stand trial for Gandhi’s assassination as a conspirator, and in the end he was acquitted by the courts. Otherwise he was a great freedom fighter, who escaped from the Cellular prison in Port Blair(Andaman island) then known as Kala Pani, where he was placed during British rule. The problem with Congress is that any other person who was not in league with Mahatma Gandhi/Jawaharlal Nehru combine was not good enough, and like British treated these freedom fighters as traitors, the congressmen still consider them untouchables. This list of theirs include people like Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Chandrashekhar Azad, Veer Savarkar and more others who were never honoured by any Congress Govt after independence. Even great Patriot like Sardar Patel was honoured with Bharat Ratna in 1991, when Chandrashekhar was PM, just because he never liked the policies of Nehru.
I would like to ask Congressmen what was contribution of Rajiv Gandhi during his short political career of 9 years, that he was bestowed with Bharat Ratna after his assassination by Sri Lankan Tamil militants. He was the person who had agreed to send Indian Peace Keeping Force in Sri Lanka (IPKF), which was not liked by Tamils who were fighting with Sri Lanka’s draconian rule, which was against Tamil population of Sri Lanka, and even some leaders from Indian state of Tamil Nadu were also against this move. Most of the sensible Indian then were of the view, why India should interfere in internal affair of other country. Secondly was Rajiv Gandhi not a propagator of killings of thousands of Sikhs after the assassination of his mother & then PM Indira Gandhi by her own Sikh Bodyguards. Rajiv Gandhi’s one comment that such a big tree has fallen and nothing his happened in the country. On this statement of his, the Congress leaders gave directive to the congressmen and they started killing the members of Sikh community. In next 2 days thousands of the people from Sikh community were butchered by these Congressmen and the govt never took any action against them. Some of the cases against these Congressmen are still going on in the court even after 35 years of the incident. Rajiv Gandhi, just because he was from Nehru/Gandhi family and died in tragic circumstances, was bestowed with Bharat Ratna award, then there is nothing wrong in honouring Veer Savarkar. The successive Congress Govts during first few decades after independence have distorted the history so much that we Indians are not aware about the actual Indian history, we have been made aware about Indian history what Congress govts wanted us to read and believe, and which was not the actual history the way it happened. It is only in the last decade that actual Indian history is slowly coming out.
2 So Supreme Court has concluded the hearing in Ram Janam Bhoomi case. During this case one thing which came out very openly was that congressmen’s behaviour. Most of the lawyers who were fighting for Muslim parties were from the Congress Party. After the HC gave its judgement few years back and gave the order that 2/3rd of the area goes to Hindus including the presumed actual birth place of Lord Rama, and 1/3rd of balance area goes to Muslims. Afterwards against HC’s order, the matter went to SC, and you could hear many funny arguments by advocates(from Congress Party) there. One famous plea was by ex Cabinet minister Kapil Sibal in 2017/18 that matter should be adjourned now and should only be heard after 2019 General Elections. Actually in the minds of Congressmen there is always fear that Muslim will lose this case, and Muslims form the major chunks of their vote bank. Some other advocates argued that there was no Lord Rama and story of Ramayana is fictitious. That way no body has seen Prophet Mohd or Jesus Christ as no body has seen them, but it is question of faith and what is written in history and old religious books.
Can any Congressmen who says there was no Lord Rama, explain then why the Congress Govt after independence declared Ram Navmi ( the day on which lord Rama was born) as holiday, why Dussera festival is celebrated by burning of Ravana’s effigy because as per history on this day Lord Rama killed Ravana. Then can some congressmen tell me why schools in northern part of India are closed from few days before till Dussera day. And if there was no Lord Rama, why even all the courts in the country are closed on Ram Navmi, and all the courts take recess during Dussera festival for few days. This year it so happened that just one day before Ram Navmi this case was being heard in SC, and next day SC was closed because of Ram Navmi.
Congressmen are such a big hypocrite, that they will go to any extreme to save their Muslim Vote Bank.
So full country will be waiting anxiously, for SC’s verdict on this case.
