Some interesting thought on this Tuesday of Nov 2017.

1. So Congress has announced it will hold elections for the Party’s President post. In a meeting of Congress Working Committee (CWC) that the nomination would have to be filed by Dec 5, 2017. I do not understand why they are creating such a farce of holding election for this post as it is foregone conclusion that only nomination will be filed by Rahul Gandhi, and no body else will be having courage to even file the nomination. After Indira Gandhi split the party again in 1979 , the Congress President is always from Gandhi family. Till her death in 1984 she herself was President of the party and after her death her son Rajiv Gandhi became President and he remained so till he died in 1991. After that PV Narsimharao became President till 96 and from 96 to 98 Sitaram Kesari was the President. Then again it was time for Gandhi family to take over, when Sonia Gandhi took over the rein of the party and till date for last 19 years she is the President of the party, a record by itself. Now her son is going to take over. for almost last 4 decades the Congress Party’s rein has been in the hands of Gandhi family. They call themselves a democratic party by holding a farce election to elect scion of Gandhi family every two years— ha ha ha.

2. Yesterday Virat Kohli became the 8th player to score 50 centuries in international cricket ( 18 Test and 32 ODI centuries). He is the only batsman in this elite club who is having plus 50 average, in fact his average is 53.56. Second interesting thing which happened yesterday was that Cheteshwar Pujara became the 3rd Indian batsmsan after ML Jaisimha and Ravi Shastri who batted on all the 5 days in the test match.

3. Padmavati may be one of the rare movies that has got more pre release publicity than any other movie. I do not understand how the people can criticise and react that this movie has not depicted the Rajput history correctly thus hurting their sentiments,all these hungama without seeing the movie which has not been released. All these people are agitating as if they have read the script of Padmavati. First people reacted by stating the movie is showing romantic scenes between Padmavati and Alladin Khilji, which was denied by the production house. Even film artists Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh gave a statement that they do not have any scene together in a movie. Now this agitation has taken a political turn , with some states announcing that they will not allow this movie to be released in their state. This movie is still not been certified by Censor Board for release, and once the movie has been cleared by Censor Board for all India release, then it is the duty of State Govts to see that it is shown in the Cinema halls across their states. Earlier same type agitations was started by Rajasthani people when the movie Jodha Akbar was being released, and at that time also the agitating people were saying that in the movie character of Jodha is not shown properly, but movie was cleared by Censor board and ran successfully and won major awards.
