Last few weeks incidents across the country have made me think that party members of the BJP and top party management are not in sync on so many issues. On one hand PM Modi always say that their party’s main agenda is development and their slogan for the same is “Sab Ka Saath Sab Ka Vikas” but on the other hand , the mind set of down the line party MP, MLAs and workers have not changed and they are still engrossed in caste and religion politics. I would like to deliberate on few of them
- Padmavati or Padmaavat controversy- It seems that BJP govts in so many states (UP, Rajasthan, Haryana, Gujarat, Goa, MP and Chattisgarh) started supporting the protesters who were asking for banning the movie. First demand was on Censor board not to pass the movie and after Censor board cleared the movie for release then they (protesters) announced that they will not allow the movie to be released in respective states. After this four BJP state govts banned the movie, then producers approached SC and the ban was lifted by SC. Again two states appealed to SC and made a plea that the release of this movie will create a Law & Order problem in the state, but SC rejected their appeal and instructed all the state govts to ensure that there is no law & order problem after the movie is released. It only means that all these state govts were trying to save their vote banks, fearing that the votes may be shifted to the Congress party and my gut feeling tells me that Congress might be supporting all these protesters so as BJP loses its face. I think it was foolish on the part of all these BJP ruled states to buckle under pressure , and it was total failure of top management of BJP which allowed the issue to blow out of proportion.
- Gang rapes in Haryana and UP- There have been lots of Nirbhaya type cases happening in these states and the police have total apathy towards these cases and they are not interested in registering FIR/lodging complaints, as most of these rapists have some political connection. Even if they do not have political connections, then also police personnel are so indifferent to women’s complaint and they think the women is of loose character and hence she was raped. Unless the govt start taking strong action against these policemen, then only their mind set will change.
- Un wanted statements by their leaders/ministers- I do not understand what was the need of HRD Minister of State Satyapal Singh give statement that Darvin’s theory of evalution is wrong and soon govt will conduct seminar/conference to debate this issue. Afterward HRD Minister Prakash Jawadekar had to intervene and issue statement that govt is not going to conduct such a seminar/conference.
- Earlier also so many BJP leaders started giving their opinion on cow slaughter/beef issue, then Ram Mandir issue, which were not as per the line of of party’s stand, just to hog little lime light. There are leaders like Yashwant Sinha and Shatrughan Sinha, who were denied Ministerial berths in central cabinet are always giving irresponsible statements in the press which are contrary to party’s position. It creates wrong impression in public’s mind and they feel that BJP is divided house.
In my personal opinion it is the duty of party president Amit Shah to rein all this type of indiscipline in the party. The policies of Narendra Modi are fantastic and suiting the present/future requirement of the nation. BJP should not feel complacent and have chalta hai attitude and also think there is TINA(There is no alternative) factor in their favour for next general elections and Modi wave will make them win this years state elections also. But BJP should not forget 2004 when Atal Bihari Vajpayee was PM, they became over confident and lost the general elections.
So what are your view/feed backs/comments on this issue my friends.

I totally agree… BJP can not afford to be complacent… And thoughts of top and middle management should be one… BJP should not forget that people of India does the ” revenge voting” and will hesitate to replace with lesser option… Good one Anil…👌👍😃
