Today I am not writing on any particular topic, there are some small general thoughts floating in my mind regarding recent happenings , which I want to share with you.
- Nitish Kumar, who has formed an alliance with BJP to run the Bihar govt has kept on making statement that he is against corruption in high places and govt departments, that’s why he has severed ties with RJD as Tejashwi Prasad , son of Laloo Prasad was charge sheeted by CBI in corruption case and he was not willing to step down from the post of Deputy CM. There is one question for Nitish Kumar, when he broke the alliance with BJP in 2013 and took the support of Congress and Laloo’s party RJD then at that time Laloo was also implicated in Fodder scam and Congress Party was also deep in 2G Scam, Coalgate scam, CWG scam, then where was his anti corruption stand. Today he has realised that Mahaghatbandhan of JDU/RJD/Congress is not going to work in future and it is wise to dump Congress and RJD and join hands with BJP to continue remaining as CM of Bihar, and drop his dreams of challenging Modi for PMs post in 2019 General Elections, which Mahaghatbandhan was trying to project him.
- On the same subject the JDU President Sharad Yadav has made a statement that it was wrong on Nitish part to ditch Congrees and RJD, as in the state elections of 2015 the mandate was given by people to the Mahaghatbandhan of RJD/JDU/Congress. Sharad Yadav is forgetting that in the earlier elections the the mandate given by people was for JDU/BJP alliance, then why Nitish Kumar ditched BJP and took outside support from RJD and Congress to survive as CM.
- Now Congress is blaming BJP for luring their MLAs in Gujarat with huge amount of cash for leaving Congress and joining their party. Congress should realise that their MLAs are resigning from the party and joining BJP and just to keep their flock together till Rajya Sabha elections in Gujarat, Congress has flown all their Gujarat MLA’s to some resort in Karnataka. Congress party thinks that their candidate Ahmed Patel( who is political advisor to Sonia Gandhi) might lose. Already Gujarat Congress Chief Shankar Singh Waghela along with 3 other MLAs have resigned from Congress. Why the truth is not dawned on Congress that there is no party left in Gujarat whom they can call Congress, and what ever is left will be wiped out after next assembly elections.
- Let us turn now turn to sport- India beat Sri Lanka convincingly by 300+ runs in the first test at Galle (Sri Lanka). The star performers were Shikhar Dhawan, Chiteshwar Pujara who scored centuries in 1st innings and Virat Kohli who scored century in 2nd innings . Now the point is that is this best ever test team of India, as for last few years under Virat’s captaincy team has performed really well at home and away tests. The bench strength of Indian team is also very strong like for opening slot 4 players Shikhar Dhawan, Murli Vijay, Mukund and Rohit Sharma are fighting for the place in team. Similarly for middle order and bowlers’ slot there are many players. There is new player like Hardik Pandya who has graduated from T20 to ODI and now in tests.
- There was one more pleasant development in the field of sport and it was in Tennis. Roger Federer won his 8th Wimbeldon title, a record, at the age when he is almost 36. Earlier he was sharing the record with Pete Sampras, both had won 7 Wimbeldon titles. Federer took his tally of Grand Slam titles to 19 and next one on the list is Rafael Nadal who has won 15 Grand Slams. In Nadal’s case it is his mastery on Clay Court, as he was won 10 French open titles which is played on clay courts, where as Federer has won only one French open title, and Nadal has won only 2 Wimbeldon titles. Time will only tell whether Nadal will be able to surpass Federer’s tally of Grand Slam titles or not.
- Bollywood- Salman Khan last movie Tube Light which was released on the occasion of Ramzan Eid fared very poorly on Box Office and Distributors who released this film in their territories lost heavily. Salim Khan, father of Salman Khan issued a statement on behalf of him(Who happened to be Co Producer of the film) saying that Salman Khan in consultation his family has decided to reimburse the loses incurred by all the distributors. A welcome move, otherwise no star/producer thinks of distributors after the distribution deal is struck with distributors. Only instance similar to this happen about 46 years back when Raj Kapoor’s Mera Naam Joker failed miserably at box office and Raj Kapoor decided to reimburse the loses incurred by distributors.
What you say my friends.
Awaiting for your feed backs and comments.

I agree with your comments on politics & sports. I am not that familiar with film industry so no opinion on that subject.
