With general elections approaching in 2 months, the political atmosphere is getting hotter day by day. There is nothing happening in Parliament, which may be the last session before the elections. Parliament proceedings are stalled by one way or the other. Yesterday opposition stalled the Parliament on the issue of face off between Mamta Banerjee and CBI, and today treasury benches made the demand for dismissal of Bengal & Delhi govt , and on that basis Parliament was stalled. Unless something is done to curb the members tendencies to stall the Parliament, I feel we are going to seen repeated scenes of Parliament being stalled for any filmsy issue. The constituent fathers had prescribed that the Parliament should be used as discussing the national problems, but now a days Parliament is used for yelling and shouting so that other party can not be heard, in the process nothing is heard.
Congress and other opposition Parties like Trinamul Congress, Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, Aam Aadmi Party and Telugu Desam Party have only one agenda to oppose Modi, as they have nothing to offer. TDP which was till early till mid 2017 was part of NDA, left the NDA on the issue of govt has not declared Andhra as special state after formation of Telengana. At the time of last Parliament & state election Chandrababu Naidu used the alliance with Modi to garner the votes and become CM of state and now he is opposing the same NDA & Modi. As all these parties are focusing on religion and caste base politics, where as the Govt’s policies should never be based on caste or religion. Over the years politics has become so bad, you are labeled secular when you are talking welfare of minorities, but as soon as you start talking about major community( which is almost 80% of country’s population) you are branded as communal. I give below some of the statements made by national leaders during last few years:
Mayavati of BSP- If Muslims support us, we can defeat BJP– And now she has aligned with Samajwadi Party in UP.
Lalu Prasad Yadav of RJD- Muslims and Yadavs should unite and show their strength– Now a days he is spending time in the prison.
Kejriwal of AAP- Muslims and Dalits should come together. Christians should realize that all parties have deceived them– Half the time he does not know what he is talking about. Last general and Delhi state elections, he was talking about large scale corruption done by Congress, and today he is willing to join hands with them.
Mulayam Singh of SP- Yadavs and Muslims are our strength– Presently his son is controlling Samajwadi Party, and he has no voice.
Owaisi of MIM- Muslims are in my heart, they are my brother and Islam is my soul. All Muslims should unite and show to Hindus their place.
Rahul Gandhi of Congress- Muslims and Dalits are living in India’s soul– And now he is chasing every other non BJP party for alliance.
Azam Khan of SP- Muslims are foundation of our party, how can we disown them. They are our power.
Please understand that all the above leaders think these statements are democratic and secular, in fact they are not.
But if any party like BJP starts talking about hindutava, give call for uniting the hindus, then all the above type of leaders will start blaming that this party is spreading communal hatred and inciting the public.
Our Constitution never recommends caste and religion based politics , then how this type of politics emerged in our country. According to me short sighted politicians are to be blamed for this and secondly Congress who ruled the country for almost six decades after independence never controlled this type of politics but they themselves were the main propagator of the policy of appeasing Muslims and other minority communities.
With the financial scams over the years , petty regional politics, division on regional lines, and reservations based on caste system are the main cause why the general public and poor are still suffering in our country, and for all these ills responsibility lies with the political class and their narrow minded politics, as they think first about themselves and their caste and religion. Most of the policies drafted by these politicians up till now are not meant for general public in common but keeping particular class of people in their mind.
I FEEL THESE POLITICIANS IN GENERAL HAVE LET US DOWN VERY BADLY.
Waiting for your feed backs/comments/views.

I agree with Mr. Malik that politicians have let us down badly.

Let us not blame politicians, the fault lies entirely with us; as long as you and I look at someone as a Hindu, a Christian, a Muslim, one from the minority or majority and not look at him as an Indian, you and I will be exploited for our very own weakness!
The fault lies with us!
