As the election fever is getting hot day by day, few stray thoughts on this Monday of April 2019
- So pseudo seculars are back in action again, 700 + writers, film artist, drama artist , play writers etc have come together, and formed a brigade which is appealing to people to vote against Modi. Friends in 2014 also, similar brigade was formed to attack Modi. So pro Modi brigade of similar people have also come together and issued a statement favouring Modi.
- Why the opposition parties are so afraid Modi, they thought that a biopic film on Modi will sway the votes from them. Now Election Commission has put a stay on the screening of film till the elections are over. Producers have approached the Supreme Court. Earlier when opposition parties approached SC, the judgement was if the picture has been cleared by Censor, then they can not ban the same, but that time Censor Board has not issued certificate. Now the certificate has been issued, let us see what is SC’s decision.
- Yesterday while watching a film in cinema hall, I happened to see 2 ad films, which have been produced and promoted by NCP( Sharad Pawar’s party), they were so down market & disgusting, that I wondered how Election Commission is not banning these ad films.
- There have been too many post on social media regarding Hindus religion that, I some time wonder that being a Hindu in our country has become biggest draw back for Hindu community. Because most of the opposition parties are only speaking for non Hindus like Muslims and Catholics, and if some one speak for Hindus, that person becomes communal.
- The root cause anti Hindu sentiments is that the govts after independence started speaking only for minorities, never for the majority community. When the constitution gives equal rights to all the citizens irrespective of their religion..
- Can some one tell me why it so, that a school established by Hindus can not teach their students Bhagvat Gita and other Hindu scriptures but Minority institutions can teach Quran & Bible. Or why a Hindu has to pay the tax to govt when he goes on Amaranth Yatra, whereas Muslims get subsidy to go on Haz. Or why Hindu temples have to pay tax on their earnings to the govt, whereas there is no tax on the religious institutions like Mosques and Churches etc.
- Now if you fight for the cause of protection of dogs, cats, goats or other animals, you are an animal lover. But if you take up the cause of protection of cows, then you are branded as communal.
- MF Hussain can draw nude pictures of Saraswati, Communists can call Goddess Durga, a sex worker, because Hindus are seculars, but if you speak a word against Prophet Mohd. or Jesus Christ, then there is bound to be unrest.
- Some states provide scholarship to Muslim Girls after they pass Board Exams, but no such facilities for Hindus girls.
India must be the only country in the world where majority community like Hindus are discriminated and treated badly as compared to people from the minority communities.
All these ills are the creation of the successive govts after independence till 2014, but these minorities communities were so used to these fringe benefits from the govts that now they resent the present govt, who wants to do away with fringe benefits to them, as this govt say, for them all the citizens are equal.
Then there is another class which is altogether different and that is the class of some pseudo seculars writers, who were pampered by the earlier govts. The present govt stopped all the indirect benefits which these people were enjoying. So these group of writers and other intellectuals , who were so used to these freebies hate present govt, and they have only one job to blast PM & his govt in print & social media.
Most of the literate Indians know about this, but they are helpless to do any thing, except that they can only go and vote during elections. Otherwise they are so busy in their present life, as in today’s India survival is the name of the game and they do not have time to think about all these things.
During the election period, there will many more thoughts like these, which I may share with you all in future.
