Monday Briefs

Some interesting briefs on this Monday of March 2018

  1.  Congress top leaders Sonia and Rahul Gandhi with their chamchas like Manmohan Singh and others are shouting at top of their voices that BJP’s Govt is very corrupt and Modi is  involved in Nirav Modi/PNB scam, whereas the fact is Nirav Modi’s scam started in 2008 and went on till 2017, and it was discovered in early Jan 2018. Congress is also blaming BJP and escpecially Modi for Vijay Mallaya episode. There is a proverb in Hindi ie ” Ulta Chor Kotwal ko Dante”.  For your information Non Performing Assets of all the Banks in the country as of Dec 2017 were of the value Rs  7,63,000 Cr from 500 Defaulting Companies. Now see the figures of  the debts of top 12 companies, which the banks have realised now that they will remain unpaid, for all the time banks were keeping quite on these figures and when Modi govt insisted that all the banks give their figure of  NPA, then the bubble burst. Please see the following list of top 12 cos.                                                                                      Bhushan Steel Rs 44,478 Cr                                                                                 Lanco Infratech Rs 44,364 Cr                                                                              Essar Steel   Rs 37,284 Cr                                                                                    Bhushan Power Rs 32,248 Cr                                                                                 Alok Industry Rs 22,075 Cr                                                                                   Amtech Auto  Rs  14,084 Cr                                                                                  Monet Ispat  Rs 12,115 Cr                                                                                         Electro Steels Rs 10,273 Cr                                                                                     Era Infa Eng Rs 10,065 Cr                                                                                     JP Infratech Rs 9,635 Cr                                                                                        ABG Shipyard Rs 5,165 Cr                                                                                      Jyoti Structured Rs 5,185 Cr                                                                                   Totaling to Rs 246,989 Cr                All these figures have been verified by the  agency which put them on the social media and friends, each company’s default story is there on Google. All loans or major part  were given under UPA’s 10 years of rule-supposedly The Golden Period as claimed by Congress. And what does the Congress say, that culprit is Modi govt for not recovering these debts in 3.5 years. Friends have you ever heard the names of these companies, personally speaking I have only heard about Bhushan Steel and I presume Bhushan Power also will be from the same promoters. These 12 companies owes almost 1/3rd of NPAs  of the banks.  Why the Congress is shouting because they do not want that these types of companies to be probed  in fear that  eventually their political link will come into open.
  2. Other big news is about cricket- last night Indian team, with many new faces, as some big players were rested for T 20 tri series in Sri Lanka, snatched a cliff hanger victory from the jaws of defeat against Bangladesh in the final. India were 133 for 4  at the end of 18 overs, still requiring 34 runs in last 2 overs, with experienced player Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina  and Lokesh Rahul back in pavilion. Then what happened what was unbelievable, and what is said in old English “Cometh the hour, cometh the man”, and for India that man was Dinesh Karthik. Just in 8 balls out of 12 which were remaining at that stage, he smashed 29 runs, and when last ball was to be bowled India still needed 5 runs that means last scoring shot has to be for 6 runs, actually every one thought Bangladesh will win, but Dinesh Karthik hit the  last ball for 6 runs and won the match for India. I really felt bad for Bangladesh, they really fought very hard and deserve to win, in the end their experience of not being involved in such type of close games was the cause of their defeat. Dinesh Karthik  is fast proving himself and in my personal opinion he might be good Wicket Keeper/Batsman on whom India can rely in the future, coming season of IPL may prove whether he can replace Dhoni in ODI/T20 form of Cricket and for test matches, I feel still Vardhman Saha is best Wicket keeper/Batsman.

Waiting for your views/feed backs/comments  on these issues.

    1. UPA is responsible for NPAs of Banks. But they want to blame others.
    2. Dinesh Kartik did a fantastic job. All praise to him.
