Negativity 2

Now a days, if you go thru print or TV media news, there is too much negativity regarding each and every thing which is happening in the country. After reading or listening the news one feels that nothing good is happening in the country- whether it is true of the fake news, which is being spread out by the certain section of the media, who has a dislike for PM Modi or BJP. Some brief points to ponder over, which the section of media is deliberating round the clock.

1.  There is too much poverty in the country- I do not know what the media means by this. Do they mean to say that present govt is responsible for the poverty, and as if before this govt took over on 26th May 2014 this section (poor) of the society were moving in expensive cars and suddenly they have become poor. On the contrary now poor are getting all the govt subsidies into their bank accounts directly without any middlemen.
2. People are losing trust in the Democracy- this charge has been leveled by certain section of media and religious institutions.. Who are these media people who are speaking against Modi- basically these are the people whose freebies Modi has stopped, like free travel in PM’s aircraft during overseas visit and free stay in hotels on govt expenses and many other perks. There are many religious institution who were misusing govt funds/grants, this govt started auditing their records, which were found manipulated, hence they lost the grants. Some religious institution’s overseas grant/funding have been stopped by the govt because they were misusing the same for the purposes other than they were supposed to do. So for these types of people Democracy is in Danger.
3. This Govt is for the rich and people like Ambani and Adani have become rich, and govt is working for them.  As if before this govt took charge on 26th May 2014, Ambani and Adani were very poor and begging on the roads. The fact is that they were very rich earlier and they are rich now. On the contrary some of the top industrialists are expanding their business thus creating more job opportunities.
4. Petrol and Diesel prices have increased considerably- Yes,  Petrol and Diesel prices went up due to increase in crude oil prices and also the petrol debt left by earlier govt was also responsible in price increase. The people who are complaining are talking as if during the earlier Govt petrol was dirt cheap.
5. Kashmir issue- This govt’s policies have given rise to more terrorism and Kashmir issue has escalated. The fact is that in the last few years there have been less terrorist attacks in Kashmir and rest of the country, which was basically due to demonitisation and strong vigil and counter attack by armed forces. Some people speak as if there was no terrorism earlier and all the terrorists crossing the border were messenger of peace.
6. Our relations with Pakistan and China have become bad- As if earlier China & Pakistan treated Indians with love, they used to even hug and kiss Indians whenever they saw them. On the contrary the fact is Pakistan now is afraid of India and China is giving lots of respect to India.
7. There is too much black money abroad and Govt is not doing any thing substantial to bring the money back– These media people are talking like only this govt is responsible for black money being stashed abroad and before 26th May 2014 there was no black money in India. The fact is due to present govt’s effort Swiss and other overseas banks are relaxing their norms and are ready to divulge the names and details of account holders who have money stashed in those banks, making many people jittery in the country.
8. Too much intolerance- looks like this word Intolerance has been invented by the media and some politicians after 26 May 2014, before that people does not know the meaning of intolerance and every thing was so peaceful in the country, and people lived harmoniously. Now a days  for each and every action of the govt, word intolerance is used.
9.  Modi is not our Prime Minister- They are talking as if Modi has forcibly taken over the Parliament and ruling the country. When the fact is, he is democratically elected leader of the ruling party/alliance, who had won more than absolute majority in 2014 general elections.
10. Modi is spending too much time on his foreign trips and flights. The fact is due to his well planned visit to various countries has resulted in India being considered as super power nation. Modi can talk on one to one basis with all the top leaders of the world. He is not like earlier PM, who was always sidelined, when leaders of the world used to meet. And today when leaders of the world meet Modi is in centre of all the dialogues and deliberations.

The basic truth is that the certain section of media and opposition leaders are  propagating the false news on social and other media on the above issues, as these are the issues which can be understood by general public and they are trying very hard to misguide the general public, so that present govt loses its face, and which might give advantage to these propagators in next general elections.

Friends I am not a staunch Modi supporter or member of any organisation controlled by Sangh Parivar. I presume he is doing a good work for the nation, and he is not indulging in any corruption, by which he or his family members are benefited. So negativity about him is not going to help the nation. The stark reality is that opposition parties and their leaders are all thinking about themselves first  and they are least bothered about the nation.
