Few thoughts on this weekend

1. Ex Chief Minister of Maharashtra Ashok Chavan, whose name figured in famous Adarash Society scam- few years back Governor of Maharashtra had given the permission to CBI to prosecute Ashok Chavan for his involvement in this scam. He went to appeal in High Court against the Governor’s decision for the permission to prosecute him and today the HC gave the decision in his favour stating that the permission given by the Governor was not right because the evidence presented by CBI was not sufficient.
2. Congress and DMK leaders are celebrating the verdict given by the Special CBI Court in 2G scam, but I do not understand what is there to celebrate for Congress party because in the judgement it is also mentioned that Telecom minister Raja(from DMK) was following the instructions from PMO’s office while allocating the 2G licence. For example the court said that it was  not Raja, but Pulok Chatterjee who was passing on instructions to Raja, and he hid the letter of Raja and never showed to PM, the letter mentions Raja’s decision about allocation on first cum first basis. Court says that the Raja thought he has PM’s concurrence as there was instructions from PMO’s office to go ahead. So what is there for Congress to rejoice, are they so  naive that they do not understand the judgement implicates PMOs office and it was Congress’s PM who was at the helm.
3. A doubt has been created in public’s mind, whether the CBI on the behest of Congress Govt at that time, purposely botched up the investigations against UPA leaders and that too after Supreme Court found that licence were arbitrarily given and cancelled all the 2g licences in 2012. Now the situation is whether we should believe SC or Special Court Judgement.
4. It looks like that on the basis of botched up investigations and some technical grounds all the 15 charge sheeted persons  have been acquitted, when whole world knew for last 10 years that this is independent India’s biggest scam. Similar is the case of Ashok Chavan, every one knows during his regime as CM his relatives got the flats in the Adarash Society and he says he was not involved.Who will believe him, as a CM he would have been aware that the originally the land for Adarash Society was allotted with the sole intention of creating housing flats for the martyr of Karigal war and he allowed the change of user so that his relatives could buy the flats at cheaper rate.
5. Public is at dilemma in 2G scam whether to believe EX CAG Chief  Vinod Rai or all these tainted politicians. I will definitely believe the saying of Vinod Rai that  because of  arbitrarily allotment  of licences there was huge loss to exchequer.
6. In my opinion CBI has never been the independent investigating agency and it has always listened and taken orders from the political masters. It is high time that the CBI should be disbanded, and some other agency should be created which should be linked with Lokpal in these types of corruption cases. But for that first Lokpal has to be in place and till India is not going to be ” Congress Mukt”, it will be a dream, because Congress and other corrupt leaders of similar parties will always block parliament . These type of leaders think it is their birth right to loot the exchequer and fill their own coffers.
7. it is fact Atal Bihari Vajpayee ruled the country for almost 6 years and Narendra Modi is ruling the country for 3.5 years, no one has heard any scam during their tenure, it is only when Congress is ruling then only scam surfaces.

In the end what to say, these leaders do all these scams and on some technical ground they escape punishment. Some times I have a doubt in my mind whether our jury is true to their job or some of them are also be in league with these corrupt leaders.
