Few weeks I had written about Ten top star/actor of Bollywood, and today I am writing about top 10 pure actors of Bollywood. They are as follows:

1. At no 10 position –it is tie and 2 actors are Raj Kumar Rao and Ayushman Khurana . Both are comparatively new in Bollywood and the work done by both of them is quite fantastic. Raj Kumar is student of FTII(Film and TV Institute), although he started his career in 2010 with brief roles in few films, he came into reckoning with Kai Po Che (2013). His other famous movies where his work has been appreciated are Shahid, Queen, Aligarh, Trapped, Citylights, Newton and Bareilly Ki Barfi. He has won national & Filmfare awards. Ayushman came into Bollywood thru TV and his first film was Vicky Donor (2012), and his other famous films are Dum Laga ke Haisha, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Savdhaan, Badhai Ho and Andhadhun. He is a good singer also , he has won  Filmfare awards.
2. At no. 9 position is Manoj Bajpai. He came to Bollywood thru theatre and TV. He came into limelight with his role of Bhiku Mhatre in film Satya (1988). His other famous films where he acted very well are Kaun, Pinjar, Zubeida, Aks, Rajneeti, Aarakshan, Chakravyuh, Gangs of Wasseypur, Special 26, Aligarh, Naam Shabana. He has won National and Filmfare Awards.
3. At no 8 is Nawajuddin Siddiqui. He came into Bollywood from National School of Drama. He started his career with doing bit roles in Sarfarosh (1999), Shool and many more. His real break through came with a role in  His other famous films are Gangs of Wasseypur, Talaash, The Lunch Box, Kick, Manjhi-the Mountain Man, Raees, Mom. He has won National and Filmfare Awards.
4. At no.7 is Ajay Devgn . Although he started his career with commercial films but slowly he switched over to the films which offer him to show his acting ability, and now he is considered as actor and not a star/actor. He started his career with Phool aur Kante (1991). His other movies where his acting power is seen are  Zakhm, Hum Dilde Chuke Sanam, Company, Legend of Bhagat Singh, Dewaangee, Gangajal, Apaharan, Singham Series, Drishyam, Raid. Side by side he also acts in commercial films but he is fine actor even in commercial films. He has won National and Filmfare Awards.
5. At no 6 is Irfaan Khan. He came to Bollywood thru TV, although he had acted in a small role in Salaam Bombay (1988). He became popular as an actor with Haasil (2003). His other films where his acting is highly appreciated are Maqbool, Life in a ..Metro, Paan Singh Tomar, Rog, The Namesake, Slumdog Millionaire, D Day, The Lunch Box, Haider, Talvar, Hindi Medium, has also acted in many Hollywood films. He has won National & Filmfare Awards.
6. At no.5 is Om Puri. He came into films through FTII and NSD. He started his career in 1977 by acting in few films in bit roles. His first major breakthrough role was in 1980 film called Aakrosh. His other famous films were Ardh Satya, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, Mirch Masala, Ghayal, City of Joy, Maachis, Chachi 420,China Gate, Maqbool, Yuva, Dev, Delhi 6, Agneepath, A Death in the Ganj, has also acted in many Hollywood films. He has won National & Filmfare awards.
7. At no 4 is Amol Palekar. He acted in few Marathi film before entering Bollywood with film called Rajnigandha (1974). He was identified as common man’s hero. His other films where his acting is very much appreciated are Choti Si  Baat, Chitchor, Gharonda, Bhumika, Baaton Baaton Mein, Gol Maal, Naram Garam, Rang Birangi, Khaamosh, Baat Ban Jaaye and many more. He also acted in Marathi and Kanada films. He also directed many Marathi and Hindi films. He won  many National Awards and Filmfare Award.
8. At no 3 is Naseeruddin Shah. He came to films through stage. His first  Hindi film was Nishant (1975). His other famous films are  Junoon, Manthan, Sparsh, Aakrosh, Umrao Jaan, Chakra, Jaane bhi Do Yaaron, Bazaar, Katha, Paar, Holi, Mirch Masala, Ijaazat, Hum Paanch, Sir, Massom, Sarfarosh, Maqbool, Iqbal, Omkara, A Wednesday, The Dirty Picture. He has also acted in many Hollywood films. He has national and Filmfare Awards.
9. At no 2 is Balraj Sahni. He came to Hindi films through stage. He started his career with  Insaaf (1946) followed by Dharti Ke Laal. He became famous with the film Do Bigha Zameen and his true worth as pure actor was recognised. His other famous films Hum Log, Hulchal, Seema, Pardesi,Kathputli, Sone Ki Chidiya, Lajwanti, Heera Moti, Chhoti Bahen, Anuradha ,Anpadh, Haqeekat, Sunghursh, Talaash Garm Hawa and who can forget Waqt and his famous song  ‘Ae Meri Zohra Zabeen”. He never won any major award but he was actor par excellence.
10. And lastly at no. 1 is Sanjeev Kumar.  He came into Hindi films      after attending the Filmalaya acting school, He started his career as Junior artist in film Hum Hindustani (1960). After that he acted in many B/C grade films in side roles or 2^nd lead/lead roles and slowly by sheer acting power he started getting supporting roles in A grade films. He came of his own in films called Raja aur Rank, Satyakam, Anokhi Raat and the turning point of his career was film called Khilona, where he enacted the role of a person who became insane after seeing his lover committing suicide on her wedding reception. His other memorable films were Shikar, Dastak, Anubhav, Seeeta aur Geeta, Koshish, Anamika, Manchali, Naya Din Nayi Raat, Aandhi, Sholay, Mausam, Arjun Pandit, Zindagi, Shatranj Ke Khiladi, Trishul, Vidhata. He did not lived past 50 years (died at the age of 47 in 1985), and as an actor he played many elderly roles. Although he was contemporary of Rajesh Khanna Amitabh, Jeetendra and  Dharmendra, he never opted for hero’s role, he always opted for the role of character where he knew ha can show his acting ability and that’s why he went against the image of hero and started acting as old person when the role demanded ,from the very young age. He won National and Filmfare Awards
