Congress President

Hi friends I am back, after my last blog on 24th Nov.

So at last Sonia Gandhi has decided to abdicate her post of Congress president and hand over the same to her son Rahul Gandhi. Recently Congress party announced that there will be election for the post of Congress president and yesterday was the last day for filing the nominations, and as expected only Rahul Gandhi filed the nomination papers and completed the farce process. This, once again proved that Congress believes in dynasty and not democracy as it was fore gone conclusion that only Rahul Gandhi will file the nomination and he will only become Party President.

In certain section of media there was discussion why only Rahul should become Congress party president, then one of the senior leader of Congress party made a statement that what is wrong in Rahul becoming Congress president as in Moghul era also son came to throne after his father and he specifically told about Aurangjeb succeeding Shahjahan, but the leader Mani Shankar Aiyer did not check Moghul history properly because as per history Aurangjeb came to throne only after rebelling against his father and putting him in prison for rest of his life. By his analogy it means that Rahul must have forced his mother to abdicate the president’s seat so that he can occupy the same.

What to say about other congress leaders, who have become expert in pleasing the members of Gandhi family as if they are God for them. This proves that all the other leaders in Congress party are spineless, as most of them are not having mass following and they are without any base in the public, and for survival they have to boot lick the members of Gandhi family.

Rahul Gandhi who as a Vice President and in charge of so many state elections and one central elections failed miserably for the Congress. In 2014, he was projected as Prime Ministerial candidate, and what was the result Congress from 200+ seats in parliament came down to 44 seats and after 2014 how many state elections Congress has lost under his leadership are known to all. I think he must be the only leader in the world’s politics who has been rewarded for his failures , and now will occupy the highest post in the Congress Party. The paid media and anti BJP media houses are still projecting him as leader who is very popular among masses and who is going to give tough fight to BJP in Gujarat, where as the fact is he had to beg to Hardik Patel of Paatidar Samaj and other OBC leaders for support. Most of the known local leaders in Gujarat deserted the Congress party before the elections.
