Few thoughts on this week end
1. You all must have read the news item about lady constable from Beed Ms Lalita Salve, who few days back applied to her booses for going in for sex change surgery, with the request after the surgery when she becomes male the job which she is doing now should continue. The top bosses of Maharashtra Police denied her request and replied that as she has been appointed as female constable, she can not continue after surgery as male constable. It has been reported in the media that she has undergone all tests required to go in for sex change surgery and top most doctors have certified that she has got more male harmones in her body than females harmones, and hence she can go in for corrective surgery. But our top Administrative bosses will never go out of the book to help some one. In the end Maharashtra CM had to intervene and he directed the top Police bosses to find the way out so that after the surgery she does not lose the job.
2. It seems that Udhav Thackerey wins the round with BJP on Narayan Rane issue. It seems that Shiv Sena gave clear hint to BJP that if they field Narayan Rane for Legislative council seat then they will not support him and they will support the opposition candidate fielded by Congress/NCP. CM Phadnavis knows that combined strength of Sena/Congress/NCP is more that BJP therefore it will be difficult to elect Rane. Looking into this scenario Rane himself made the statement that he is not contesting for the council seat. Sena has given assurance to BJP that if they field the candidate from BJP they will support him, provided Narayan Rane is not made Minister. Presently Narayan Rane’s fate is hanging in balance. It is almost certain that immediately he may not be inducted into cabinet of the state govt.
