Modi Bashing

As Gujarat Elections are approaching, social media,certain TV News channel and print media are full of Modi bashing, as by becoming PM and working relentlessly for the country , he has committed a big crime. Out of  70 years, after India became independent, the BJP has ruled country for 9 years( 6 years of Vajpayee govt and 3 years of Modi govt) against  55 years of  Congress Govt. The 6 years of Vajpayee govt was not a BJP ruled govt but it was a alliance with different ideological parties, in fact  govt headed by Modi is actually pure BJP govt, as a party even they have majority in Lok Sabha. A PM who works only for country and has no self interest in any matter, who works almost 18 hours every day and has not taken any leave during last 3 years deserves much better from the media than what media is projecting him to be. As per my thinking and judgement, why media and other opposition parties are bashing him can be attributed to following few points :

1. No body from political circle and media expected Modi to change the face of Indian polity, they must have thought he like Vajpayee will continue with the policies adopted by earlier Congress/Janata govts, but what happened was a total 180 deg turn around.
2. No body expected Modi to become one of the tallest leader in the world politics. He is counted on Par with American , Russian, Chinese , Japanese, French and British head of govts, a achievement no body would have thought in their wildest dreams 3 years back. The Communist and Congress leaders can not digest that a Rightist party leader has achieved this success.
3. Earlier whenever PM used to travel abroad, all the media persons from print and visual medium used to travel in PMs plane at free of cast. The selection of media people who will travel with PM was done by  PMO . Some time few of them used to get free stay in hotels where PM was staying. Now the situation is changed, Modi has stopped taking any press and TV media persons in PM’s plane, other than Doordarshan people, even govt officials who accompany him has to pay for their food and stay as govt is paying them allowances for that.
4. Earlier Congress govts used to always pamper media persons, so that they  write and project good things about Congress’s rule. Some of the media persons got themselves undue advantages from the govt, the classical example are Pranov Roy of NDTV, and Rajdeep Sardesai of India Today (eatlier from CNBC) along with his wife Sagarika Ghose Now these two News Channels and their regional network are the main leader in Modi bashing.
5. Next come marginal leaders like  and leading them is Congress VP Rahul Gandhi, who is instrumental in leading Congress to so many elections defeats, and other leaders are Laloo Prasad, Mulayam & Akhilesh Yadav, Sharad Yadav,Sitaram Yechuri, Mamata Banerjee, Arvind Kejriwal, Mayawati. Other than Mamata, no one else has got the hold on their own state. All of them combined hold little over 100 seats in Loksabha and they are dreaming of defeating Modi in 2019 with bashing in media. if that happens than God save our country.
6. Then Muslim leaders, Muslim clerics and pseudo secular leaders/media.  The Muslims leaders /clerics are worried that the Modi govt is getting backing from open and liberal minded Muslims on the issues like triple talaq and changes in Muslim personal law and abolishment of subsidy on Haz. It is known fact that in the last UP elections Muslim women voted for BJP because Modi made a statement that he will see that triple talaq system comes to an end, Till date all the previous govts run by so called pseudo seculars were only appeasing the Muslim clerics to safe guard their vote bank. But Modi govt does not believe in appeasement and they say for us all citizens are equal..
7. Next come the other marginal leaders like Kanahiya, who is boasted by Congress for Gujarat elections. Can some one tell me credential of this chap called Kanahiya, other than he has become self styled leader for Patel Reservation movement. Modi govt says that  there are more reservations than actually required and they want to end reservations and their slogan is “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas”
8. Then there are some failed economist who are saying that after Demonitisation and GST the Economy of the nation has suffered badly, and leader of this pack ex Finance Minister P Chidambaram( who has got an axe to grind with Modi govt because his son Karti is charged in Money Laundering case by CBI). Echoing with him is other Congressmen like Kapil Sibal, Manish Tiwari, leftist Seetaram Yechuri, ex BJP member Yashwant Sinha etc. But the fact is World Bank and other global agencies are lauding India’s economy and they say this is the fastest growing economy of the world.

From the above, I can only summerise that all the above mentioned groups are only worried about their self interest and they are least bothered about the nation, and they say they are looking after common man’s interest, what humbug.
