I am back to my favourite topic National Polity. During last few months I am constantly watching/reading the various statements of Congress Leaders and wonder is this the same Congress Party who was once the only party of importance pre and even 3 decades after independence, the way their leaders give non sense statements outside and inside the parliament and really shocking. I have observed that when ever Congress is out of the power , the said situation becomes unbearable to Congressmen and they start giving the statements which have no relevance. Few of the instances are given below:
- Friends you will recall in Feb 2014 then Congress VP(now President) Rahul Gandhi appeared on Times Now TV channel, where Arnab Goswami interviewed him. In that interview after every 5 minutes Rahul Gandhi said he and Congress party are for women empowerment. The fact is that in their rule they could never got women reservations bill passed in Parliament although they had majority in the Parliament. Presently they are opposing the triple Talaq bill in the Rajyasabha on some pretext or the other though the bill is cleared in Loksabha, and what type of filmsy grounds they are quoting for stopping the bill is known to every one. What Double speak.
- Do Congressmen ever talk on Indira Gandhi’s election slogan of Garibi Hatao, which they used for many many years. Were they able to remove poverty from the country–the answer is obviously NO. But few Congressmen removed their own Garibi by pocketing the funds meant for the poor. But you ask any Congressmen about this the answer will be at the time of election campaigning many things are promised but every thing can not be fulfilled. Then why these same Congressmen and their cronies are asking Modi “Achche Din” will come when, then in this case Achche Din was Modi’s promise as Garibi Hatao was your promise to electorate. So Why Double speak.
- Next question Congressmen are asking Modi govt about the creations of more jobs as promised by him during elections. For Congressmen I think when they talk about the jobs they only mean govt jobs, because that is what Congressmen promise every one through reservations. With road network construction going at rapid pace, laying of railway tracks at double the pace, other infra work happening at very fast rate, growth of IT industry and manufacturing sector- are these sectors are not creating new jobs, but in the eyes of Congressmen these are not jobs and these people keep on uttering senseless statements.
- In 2014 during elections it was Politics on Chai(Tea) because Modi gave a statement while campaigning that he comes from a very poor back ground and in childhood he used to sell tea on Railway platforms. That time Mani Shankar Aiyar of Congress gave statement on TV that how a Chai selling person can become PM of the country, and he further added after the elections he will give Modi a Tea stall in front Congress HQ to sell the tea. But Modi became PM and Mani Shankar Aiyar had to eat his world. Now the politics has started on “Pakoda/Bhajiya” selling as PM Modi during his speech one day told the audience that even a man selling Pakoda is also doing a job and there are numerous people doing similar jobs. Now the Congressmen are saying that these types of jobs are being created by Modi govt. Have Congressmen forgotten that there may be crores of people people in the country who earn their lively hood by selling something on the road and other people buy the same product. By demeaning the Pakoda selling job, the Congress is insulting crores of Indian Vendors.
Friends have you seen a Congressmen debating in Parliament which is worth reading or listening, they only bash Modi every where, because they understand that if Modi persist with the way he is working, their existing is a in danger, because except for few Muslim countries Modi is getting support from rest of the world.
